Thomas J. Mahlum, ABR, CRS, DREI, GRI

Thomas J. Mahlum has been actively involved in real estate education for more than 28 years in North Carolina. He has taught pre-licensing, brokerage law, finance, brokerage operations and continuing education (CE). He holds the prestigious Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI) designation. He has been an active broker/owner of a Jacksonville, N.C., firm since 1975. Mahlum was president of the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association (NCREEA) in 1994-1995. In the last four years, Mahlum has taught more than 100 four-hour classes per year. He is also a N.C. Real Estate Commission (NCREC) instructor for the broker-in-charge (BIC) course.
