Tim Terry has been in the real estate industry for 30 years and has been a certified instructor for 20 years. He is currently one of the Mingle School of Real Estate’s main instructors for broker pre- and post-licensing. Terry also teaches continuing-education (CE) courses for Mingle, and he has written several popular elective courses, including “Real Estate Investing from the Beginning,” “Sold, But Will It Ever Close?” and the “ABCs of Short Sales.” Terry is also a part of the Terry Team at Keller Williams Realty with his wife, Natalie Terry, who is also a Realtor®.

Terry is a past president and charter member of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors®, and in 1994 he was named that association’s Realtor® of the Year. In 1995, he was recognized as the New York State Realtor® Associate of the Year.

Terry is equally distinguished in his work as an educator. He has received the highly selective Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI) designation, which is held by only about 110 instructors in the world. He was also awarded the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association (NCREEA) Educator of the Year award in 2002 and now serves as the 2009-2010 NCREEA president.

In his spare time, Terry takes in Charlotte Bobcats games (he's been a season-ticket holder since the inaugural season), plays golf “without notice or warning” and spends time at his golf/beach house in South Carolina.

Terry was recognized for achieving an outstanding record of student performance on the N.C. Real Estate License Examination for the period July 1, 2008-June 30, 2009.
