New for 2010! Early-bird pricing! The Broker Pre-Licensing course is $369; however, if you register at least 10 days before class begins, you will save $40! |
The real estate pre-licensing course is your first step to obtaining your real estate license.
Students must successfully complete a 75-hour Broker Pre-Licensing course at the school as well as pass the state exam in order to obtain a North Carolina real estate license. After this, you will be awarded a “provisional” broker license.
To remove the “provisional” status, you will need to complete three 30-hour Post-Licensing courses within three years. You must take at least one 30-hour Post-Licensing class each year to keep your license status active. You can complete all three 30-hour Post-Licensing classes within the first year if you choose to do so. Failure to complete the required post-licensing classes will result in the cancellation of your license.
The required textbook for the class is Modern Real Estate Practice in North Carolina, Seventh Edition, which you may purchase at the Realtor® Store. You can contact the store at 704-940-3126.
