Rashad Phillips participated in a pilot program with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) Academy of Finance Magnet Program, which allowed him to complete the Fundamentals of Real Estate as a high school senior. After successfully completing the pre-license course, Phillips was required to wait until he reached the age of majority (18 years old) before he sat for the state examination. Twenty days after his 18th birthday, Phillips received his North Carolina real-estate salesperson license. 

After earning the broker license, Phillips earned a real-estate instructor license and began teaching real estate pre-license courses. Phillips has a passion for knowledge and education. He enjoys simplifying complex real estate concepts so students can easily digest them.
